2 oz. size. A toned down version of our Blue Chalk, our Barely Blue Pounce Powder is ideal for marking on white or other very light colored fabric. Why not just use blue? Quilters have told us they like an option that is visible yet not so overpowering . Our regular Blue Chalk is formulated to be ideal for marking fabric with busy prints because it shows up well on lights as well as darks and every color in between. We decided to offer this unique option because we found our customers were buying blue chalk from us along with a white and they were mixing there own blend! We want to save them the trouble and also offer them something better. The Barely Blue is a mix of blue pigment (very little) and our Ultimate Pounce Powder. That means it will stay on the fabric nicely and will not bounce off as you sew. It does not iron off, it easily washes off and often times brushing it off is enough. It's a much lighter powder which is why 2 oz. is the same price as 4 oz. of our other colored chalk. They are filled by volume, not weight. The quantity sold with the Pounce Pad or in a refill bag still will transfer stencils for well over 30 hours – that translates into a lot of quilts marked for the money!

Quilt Pounce pads are perfect marking tools for transferring any stencil to quilt tops or other fabrics. 2 oz. refill white Ultimate Pounce powder Iron-off with dry or steam iron Shows best on dark or bold colored fabrics The Ultimate Chalk Refill 2 oz.  is the Iron-off chalk that also can be washed and sometimes brushed off for removal. It's our best! Use a Medium High to High setting on your iron with steam or dry to remove the chalk powder. There is enough to top off your pad 5 or 6 times and one bag will give you hours of transferring stencils. It's hard to determine how many quilts you'll mark given all the variables there are to consider but to give you and idea of how long this chalk will last, we like to say how long we can demo at a show with it. We demo at our booth throughout the show and one bag will last us well over 40 hours. You can safely assume a pack will get you through several large quilts if not more.
