This ruler is unique because it is 1/4" acrylic which means it can be used on all longarm/ midarm machines and domestic high shank  machines. Also because not all machines are built alike, if you're like me, the tiny 1/4" opening that most inset rulers have, to fit my ruler foot into, simply will not do. So welcome the unique puzzle design that will open into 2 sections and fit around all ruler feet! Inside we have smaller retro blocks that quilt 3" , 2" and 1". Ruler has 1" markings all around for ease of use when making intricate designs and 45* angle and 1/4 inch inset lines in the top left corner for adjusting spacing when quilting. Each square has a 1/4" offset and 45* and 90* markings for alignment purposes. Also round the entire ruler are 1" spacings.   Be sure to be watch border buddy videos to show you how to get the most out of your ruler here. knowledge is power! Some sitdown  quilting machines (or domestic sewing machines) shanks are too low to fit the ruler behind the foot and the ankle might hit the ruler, check for clearance before purchasing this ruler for a domestic sewing machine if you've never used an inset ruler. it is important that this  ruler can fit underneath the back side of your hopping foot.

A single (removable) thread cone adapter. For those specialty threads you want to use but are too finnicky to use on a Long or midarm machine give this Horizontal thread cone adapter a try. Usually when you use  specialty threads they can be frail, this is made worse by the increased amount of tension running thread from the back of the machine to the front of the machine; lets take the tension off your specialty thread by mounting your Horizontal spool holder over the thread guide above your tension disks, this minimizes the tension coming off of the back of the machine and makes those finnicky threads alot more friendly to use. Works phenomenally for stack would spools of thread  as pictured with the mini hologram spool and has lifted caps so that you can use  it with multiple styles of thread cones and keep the thread cone even and lifted as you run it.
