This was my first experience using Grunge, and I love it. I used it as a background for an orange tiger with black stripe collage applique and it was perfect. The varied shading throughout gave it the dimension it needed to bring the tiger to life when quilted. It is quality cotton with a great hand and keeps its shape after rolling and re-rolling on a frame. I highly recommend for front or backing. Carol H.
